Bauer Media Outdoor wins advertising rights for Oslo Bus Terminal
Bauer Media Outdoor (BMO) has secured the advertising rights for Oslo Bus Terminal – one of Norway’s busiest transport hubs, with 6.7 million visitors annually. The agreement strengthens BMO’s digital presence in the capital.
– Oslo Bus Terminal is one of the country’s strongest digital advertising arenas. The high volume of foot traffic – combined with long dwell time – creates excellent conditions for advertising attention, says Nils Li, Business Development & Operations Director at Bauer Media Outdoor.
As Norway’s central hub for bus travel, the terminal attracts a large and diverse audience throughout the day. This makes it an attractive platform for brands looking to reach broadly while also benefiting from extended engagement time with their audience – whether the goal is to build awareness or drive action.
A key part of BMO’s digital network
The new screens will enhance BMO’s digital footprint in Oslo and become a core part of the company’s integrated digital network. The connection to BMO’s strong national digital offering – including its collaboration with Thon – enables advertisers to combine the Bus Terminal’s premium digital inventory with broad nationwide reach. This expands BMO’s programmatic inventory and provides advertisers with a more efficient digital customer journey.
– The Bus Terminal complements our digital network and gives our clients greater flexibility – both in data-driven planning and creative execution. Together, this delivers strong visibility in the capital as well as across the rest of the country, Li adds.
Strong partnerships
BMO already has a solid and well-established partnership with Akershus Kollektivterminaler, and Oslo Bus Terminal is a natural extension of this collaboration. Jafar Altememy, CEO of Vaterland Bus Terminal and Akershus Kollektivterminaler, welcomes the expanded partnership.
– We congratulate Bauer Media Outdoor and look forward to a strong collaboration on advertising at Norway’s largest bus terminal. Oslo Bus Terminal is a key hub for commuters from Akershus and for Oslo residents travelling across the country and onward into Europe. The agreement with BMO will contribute to value creation that benefits travellers through investments in improved infrastructure, safety, and services at the terminal, says Altememy.
