Mona Andreassen appointed as new Sales Director at Bauer Media Outdoor
The appointment marks an important step in Bauer Media Outdoor’s continued commercial journey, at a time characterised by change and strong development – both for the company and for the out-of-home channel.
Bauer Media Outdoor (BMO) is strengthening its commercial team and has appointed Mona Andreassen as its new Sales Director. Andreassen joins from the role of Sales Director at FINN (Vend) and will now have overall responsibility for BMO’s entire sales organisation, covering both traditional out-of-home advertising and airport advertising. She will be part of the company’s executive management team and report directly to CEO Dennis Højland Nyegaard.
– Bauer Media Outdoor has a strong foundation and clear commercial potential. I’m really looking forward to building on this together with the team, with full focus on creating maximum value for our customers and partners, says Mona Andreassen.
Andreassen has worked in the media industry since 2005 and brings broad experience from both editorial and commercial environments. With a background from Dagbladet, Aftenposten, Clear Channel and FINN (Vend), she has developed a strong understanding of the interaction between media, brands and commercial impact. She has more than 12 years of leadership experience in sales, with responsibility for both salespeople and managers.
In her role as Sales Director at BMO, Andreassen will be responsible for further developing and strengthening the company’s commercial efforts. The overall goal is to create clear and measurable value for customers through strong consultancy, relevant insights and documented effect. Customer experience will be central – both in the company’s market approach and in day-to-day collaboration.
– For me, this is about being a relevant and value-creating advisor for our customers, while also building a sales organisation that works closely, in a structured and long-term way. The customer experience must be strong at every touchpoint, says Andreassen.
Preparing the organisation for continued development
BMO CEO Dennis Højland Nyegaard explains that the appointment is also part of the company’s work to prepare the organisation for further development, in a market where the demands for commercial expertise and holistic advisory services are increasing.
– The out-of-home channel is growing, and the requirements for commercial strength and consultancy are increasing. With Mona on the team, we significantly strengthen our sales leadership at an important phase for the company, says Højland Nyegaard.
He adds that this is also about further developing the company in close interaction with the market.
– Over the past year, we’ve spent time listening to the market and staying in close dialogue with the industry. Now it’s about creating the conditions to unlock commercial synergies between Audio and out-of-home, says Højland Nyegaard.
